The purpose of flashing kits is to warrant good drainage away from the window and to offer protection. Since there are many roofing types, FAKRO offers a range of flashing options to fit nearly all needs.All flashings are factory-made using aluminum and permanently protected with a brown baked enamel polyester finish. The flashing for profiled and high profiled corrugated materials joins the skylight with roofing materials such as tiles, corrugated and standing seam metal sheets. A wider and longer lower section allows a tighter joint with the high profiled roofing materials (the height of the profile 1-1/4 to 3-1/2). Includes roofing underlayment EH flashings are suitable for Fakro FX, FV, FVE, and FVS deck mounted models only. The bottom section of the flashing is equipped with a butyl strip to protect against wind-driven rain in adverse conditions.
